Does anyone take Fish oil pills for arthritis, and does it help?
I have begun to take Omega-3 Fish Oil pills for my heart and my wife is taking them for our baby. When we take them, however, they cause significant gas and upset stomach. Is there something we can take with the pills to keep that from happening so we can get the health benefits without the upset stomach?
I read somewhere that fish oil (what kind and how much) is helpful for arthritis and chronic fatigue? what else can you tell me
I bought both, Is it safe for me to take both Multi Vitamin and Omega- 3 FIsh oil at the same time?
How should I take the Multi Vitamin, twice of day or once a day?
The Multi Vitamin has no fish oil in it.
My aunt suffers from arthritis both rheumatoid and psoriatic. She read a small study that fish oil may help arthritis, and she asked me to help her find info on the internet to see if this is true. I’d appreciate any info anyone has on this. Thank you!
My rabbit has severe arthritis in her right leg.
We took her to the doctors a month ago but the medication given to her hasnt improved her at all so i was wondering if i could give her some fish oil (because apparently it helps with arthritis) and if i can, how much do i give her daily.
much appreciated! thanks (:
Is it safe to eat products that contain Omega-3 fish oil, like dairy products or peanut butter or generally anything that says it’s in there, because of the possibility of mercury? I am on the autistic spectrum, which makes me especially awry, because autistics tend to accumulate mercury in their bodies more than regular folk.
I’m especially curious about organic milk containing DHA Algal Oil, which is a source of Omega-3s. Could this have mercury?
She tore her cruciate and now has arthritis>Fish oil is a natural anti-inflammatory.I also give glucosamine and chondrotin-Drs. Foster and Smith Joint Care 1+
I was just wondering why Omega-3 fish oils are recommended so much when they contain a small amount of cholesterol ? I have been taking 2 each day for a long while as part of my diet supplement routine. Has anyone else who takes these found any noticeable benefits from taking them, and how many each day do you take ? What are the differences between Omega-3 and Omega- 6 oils that you know of? Thank you for all comments.
Does anyone know what would be an estimate ideal dosage of fish oil for rheumatoid arthritis? The fish oil capsule which I’m starting to take has 180mg of EPA and 120mg of DHA in one capsule. I’ve search and read around but I’m not very sure how it works.
http://www.fishoil4health.com/fish-oil-dosage.html
The above website says:"Rheumatoid Arthritis 1000 mg (2 capsules) containing 600 mg EPA/DHA, twice a day "
http://www.naturalproductsmarketplace.com/articles/531training.html
And this one above says:
Effective dosage for RA is approximately 375 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 250 mg docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), with 625 mg of total omega-3 fatty acids, twice daily.
Just tell me how many capsules I’m supposed to take after each meal a day. Thanks in advance.
I read that it is recommended to have fish 3 times per week. But I am already taking Omega-3 fish oil capsules. So is there any further benefit to eating fish?
Like is there some magical component in the fish that I am not getting from the capsules?
Thank you.
